  • “One Pill” conscious sedation: a medication such as triazolam is taken thirty minutes to one hour before the appointment with additional increments given during the treatment appointments.
  • IV Conscious Sedation: a drug like Versed is used through an IV to effect sedation.
  • Nitrous Oxide: also knows as laughing gas, is used to induce a state of relaxation.
